This year, with funding from the Heisman Trophy Youth Development Fund in New York, we are opening several Middle School Swimmer Scholar programs. This week we opened our first program at Columbia Secondary School in partnership with the Y of Washington Heights & Inwood. Happily, we also have hired our first Trident graduate, Johanly Sepulveda as the head coach of that program! Johanly loves teaching and coaching inner city kids to love the water, especially in the same way he began his swimming career at our George Washington High School campus.

 For the first few years of the girl's PSAL team at GW, numbers hovered at around 10 but this year we have a big team that opened it's season with a strong win at their opening meet!
