The Trident Swim Foundation’s Summer Swim program is a free learn-to-swim program. The program kicked off in 2018 with a mission to bring accredited swim instructors to teach children water-safety behaviors, breath-control, and how to float and move through the water. More experienced swimmers who participate in our program are taught how to swim the four competitive strokes: freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly.
Our Summer Swim program operates two 3-week sessions in Northern Manhattan beginning in early July and ending in mid-August. Swimmers who are admitted to a session attend 30-minute lessons on weekday mornings with highly-qualified swim instructors. Some of our swim instructors were first introduced to swimming through our swimmer scholar program, and they share their love of the water through our program.

If you are interested in learning more about the program, please email info@tridentswimfoundation.org. The program application will be available in late-May. Be sure to check back for updates!
