Pompeii Exhibit, Discovery Museum
Travelling outside of Washington Heights to other parts of New York City is a rare occurrence for most of our students. Travelling to Italy to see one of the world's greatest archeological sites is an impossibility. Expanding our students understanding of the world is a top priority for Trident, and we assembled team leaders that had been to Pompeii to bring our Swimmer Scholars to an exhibit in NYC of select Pompeii artifacts. The realization of how advanced civilization was two thousand years ago was an eye opener for everyone.
