Landrau emerged as the team&rsquo;s leading sprinter posting times of 25.5 in the 50yd Free, and 58.0 in the 100yd Free. Samuel and Diego also went from barely being able to swim to 1:05 and 1:07 respectively in the 100yd Free. Ledimir Nunez emerged as the team&rsquo;s primary Breaststroker posting a best time of 1:15 in the 100yd breast.&nbsp; The regular season ended with 4 wins and 6 losses in a number of hard fought battles with higher-division teams, solidifying George Washington&rsquo;s place in PSAL swimming.&nbsp; Every team member improved dramatically throughout the season and we look forward to further improvement in the off-season.&nbsp; We are already planning for next fall! </span></p>
<p><span style="color: black;">Thirteen swimmers qualified to compete in the post-season PSAL B Division Championship meet in Queens and five swimmers won awards. Senior Johanly Sepulveda qualified for the A-division Championship in the 100yd Backstroke with a 1:12 and he posted a time of 26.30 leading off the 200 freestyle relay. Other highlights included senior Ledimir Nunez taking 12th place in the 100yd Breaststroke, and junior Kevin Brito taking 12th place in the 100yd Butterfly.&nbsp; The team placed 7th out of 28 teams, a big improvement over the 2009-2010 season!<br /></span></p>
